

Frances Anne McDonald, 69, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2015, in Katy, Texas. Francie was born in Des Plaines, Illinois, on February 19, 1945, and graduated from Highlands High School, in San Antonio, Texas, in 1963. Francie retired from Sysco, in Houston, as Corporate Meeting Planner, and was an active volunteer throughout her life. She recently attained the Golden Circle and Torch Bearer Degree in Beta Sigma Phi Epsilon Chi Master Chapter. She had over 50 years of dedicated participation and served in many positions on the local chapter and sorority Houston City Council. Francie was also active in the Star of Destiny, JSDAR-Katy, Texas, and a dedicated volunteer at Texas Children's Hospital, Katy West Campus, where she served on the Auxiliary Volunteer Board. She was an active member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, in Katy.
Francie was preceded in death by her parents, James E. and Mildred Francis McDonald. She is survived by her sister, Linda K. (Moczygemba) Kissling and husband, Paul, of San Antonio, Texas; nephews: Allen J. Moczygemba and wife, Alexandria of La Vernia, Texas; and Matthew S. Moczygemba and wife, Sarah, of New Braunfels, Texas; grand nieces and nephew, Mikaela, Matthew, Jr. and Adin; step-niece, Aubrey (Kissling) Boyle and husband, Brian, of Augusta, Georgia; dear, life long friends, Adrian and Martha Moczygemba; and Francies' Godson, Andrew Moczygemba and wife, Rebecca and their daughter, Petra, all of Katy, Texas.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 14, 2015, from 5-9PM, in the Chapel of Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, Texas, 77450. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 15, 2015, at 10:30AM, in the sanctuary of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, 20775 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, Texas 77450. Rev. Kim Poer, Officiant. Graveside services will be Friday, January 16, 2015, at 1:00PM, in Mission Park South Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. Deacon JD "Joe" Jorgensen will officiate. Pallbearers: Allen Moczygemba, Andy Moczygemba, Matthew Moczygemba, Greg Moczygemba, Wes Coody and Jerry Miille.
In lieu of usual floral remembrances, the family has expressed gratitude for memorial donations made in Francie's name to Texas Children's Hospital, West Campus, 18200 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77094.
