Gary was one heck of a guy. A great mentor and friend. He was a very hard working man and love his children. We always picked on him for his son going to Harvard and parking his car in Harvard’s yard. A union brother forever. We’re going to miss the old man for sure.

I was a classmate of Gary’s at Bishop Byrne and remember him to be a kind and gentle soul. We all went out separate ways after high school but thrilled to read of his life accomplishments and so many loving family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Very nice to see the picture of the 3 Norris brothers together on this site. I also went to BBHS, and was in the class of 1968 with Gary's brother Ricky and his wife Deanna. I'm always surprised to see when someone from" back when" passes and discover that we live within 15 miles from one another. Also, it is sad to hear that another schoolmate has left us. Rest in peace Gary Norris and may one day you see the face of our God.

My sympathy and prayers go out to Gary's family. He will be missed. He was a classmate of mine at Bishop Byrne. Gary was a good friend in school. As with so many of our classmates, we lost touch after graduation. But I did get to see him again at our 50th BBHS reunion. Rest in Peace Gary........

My heartfelt condolences for Hilda and the entire family. I am blessed to have known Gary and will dearly miss him.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.”

2 Corinthians 1:3-5
