George Mills Hotchkiss Sr.

George Mills Hotchkiss, Sr., age 76, of Katy, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022. George was born Wednesday, July 24, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut, to parents, Norman Henry and Dorothy (Mills) Hotchkiss.

George loved ALL sports and enjoyed building miniatures. He excelled in his career as a Typesetter and experienced all changes in his newsprint career, from using ink and block lettering to the use of computer technology. After his retirement from full-time work, he became a dedicated partner for the next ten years, at HEB.

George was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Veronica Suzanne Brooks; and sister, Cheryl Ann Hotchkiss. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon Anderson Hotchkiss; daughter, Jeanette Lyn Misaiko, of Katy, TX; son, George Hotchkiss, Jr. and wife, Kim, of Uncasville, CT; daughter, Michelle Ruth Kimble and husband, John, of Katy, TX; grandchildren: Jordan Mills Hotchkiss, Mackenzie Dean Hotchkiss, Kadi Abigail Kimble and Colton Lance Kimble; brother, Henry Hotchkiss, Jr. and wife, Loretta; and his faithful companion, Abbey (dog).
