His early years were spent in Wolverine, Michigan. He graduated from Wolverine High School. Upon graduation, Glenn enlisted into the U.S. Navy serving as Aircraft Crash Crew member in Guantanamo Bay,
Cuba. Glenn then attended San Jacinto College in the Commercial Diving Program.
Glenn was married to Tandy Shillings. They had two wonderful children, son; Christian and daughter; Sierra.
Glenn enjoyed shooting sporting clays with his wife, spending time with family, and riding his motorcycle.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife Tandy of 22 years, son Christian, and daughter Sierra of Katy, Texas, his mother, Sharon Gray of Canadian Lakes, Michigan; his sister Sheryl (Ralph) Ferraiuolo, of Wolverine, Michigan; his brother Bill Markcum, of Canadian Lakes, Michigan; his sister Elizabeth McCauley of Wolverine, Michigan; Lou Shillings of Katy, Texas; and Dale & Denise Shillings of Calgary, Canada. Glenn had 8 nieces and nephews.
Glenn was a true Patriot, a devoted Christian, and a committed friend to many.
