Hector Dominguez

Hector Dominguez was born September 21, 1950 to Andres and Maria Dominguez in El Paso Texas he Died July 5, 2014 surrounded by family at Memorial Hermann Hospital Memorial City after losing his battle to lung cancer. He was a father, grandfather, brother and an uncle. He shared a passion for books, movies and mustangs he loved his cobra "Cleo". What my mom will miss most is seeing dad on the porch on Sunday morning outside with his coffee looking at his garden, he loved his flowers and trees probably because it was all put in by his family. What I will miss most is our Sundays eating breakfast then going to see a movie but it had to be a sci-fi or action then coming back to house and hanging out watching Games of Thrones or True Blood to come on. For my brother the thing he will miss most about our father is when they would wash their cars together, my dad was very much into taking care of his car and it had to be done a certain way and his loved of dogs.

Hector is the embodiment of a class act leader. Over the years, Hector has won admiration from his direct reports, peers, managers, customers, and so on. Hector served in GM capacity at various Big Box retailers including Walmart, CompUSA, etc. And for the past 13 years, he has given dedicated service to Sprint as a well-respected Store Manager. His nickname at work was the "Godfather".

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Dominguez, son Jason Dominguez, Daughter Michelle Coates son in law Scott Coates and grandson Richard Hendricks father in law Thomas Dennis and mother in law Victoria Dennis brother Gilbert Dominguez and his wife Genova Dominguez, sister Armida Estrada and her Husband Louis Estrada, brother Orlando Dominguez and His Wife Theresa Dominguez, brother David Dominguez and wife Joni Dominguez, Sister Debra Welch, 14 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Andres and Maria Dominguez.

He was one of the happiest men on the planet. He went to be with his parents, leaving his beloved wife, 2 children and grand child who will forever miss him and friends who were richer for knowing him.

He will be missed.
