Howard J. Martin

Howard J. Martin, 29, of Katy, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017, at his home. He was born March 19, 1988, in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Alief Taylor High School in Houston, TX. Howard enjoyed music and created his own brand SBDM Music Group. He was an entrepreneur in rap music and spent his spare time driving and gaming. Howard always wanted the finer things in life and spent lots of time at the barber shop and jewelry store. It was said he was very mature for his age and was respected by all. He and his brothers shared a saying between each other "25 to life" and his Mother, Ada, expressed, " I will forever miss you and forever love you. You will always be in my heart”.

Howard was preceded in death by his aunts: Pearlie May Green, Veronica Greenup, Cynthia Martin, Olivia Dabney and godson, Chevron Sodia Jr. He leaves behind his loving Mother, Ada Martin; brothers: Michael Martin, Kendrick Martin, Demarcus Russell, Chevron Sodia, Cedric Davers and Danny Jones; sisters, Taekeshia Dabney and Maurisha Dawson; godchildren: Ayana Russell, Cheronna Sodia and Azariyah Sodia; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.

Howard was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
