Iris Sue Waterman

Iris was a loving supporting Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend, Boss, and Spouse. Iris touched the lives of so many people. She had a gift of making everyone feel loved and like family. Iris was accepting of all without judgment and always gave advice from her heart. Her favorite past times included cooking, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, Sudoku puzzles, reading, bowling, and any special event planning. Aside from her family life, Iris was a retail manager of Target for 10 years and a sales associate of Conn’s for 4 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Abraham and Selma Rosenfeld; and her brother, Freddie Rosenfeld. Iris is survived by her three children, Robert, Michael and Amanda Waterman. Along with her grandchildren, Alexis, Bailie, Gavin Waterman and Louie Landin; her former spouse, Joseph Waterman; and her partner Kyle Segrest. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Magda Waterman; her niece, Samantha Williams; her nephews, Josh and Fraser Cohen; her former in-laws, Phillip and Judith Waterman, and all of her “adoptive children”.

Iris will be remembered always in the hearts of everyone who ever knew her.

The memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, Texas 77494. A reception will follow.
