Our condolences go out to the Stefano family. The 14 years as a neighbor always found Jim a very devoted family man. He loved life and people. Jim will be missed but not forgotten

Reflecting on my college years at CMU. Thinking of Jim and his brothers brings forth so many wonderful memories. Three great, fun guys and loving brothers. Jim was a dreamer with so many talents, very intelligent and creative, a gifted and skilled woodworker. Jim was a quality guy, and I trust that he had a rewarding and fulfilling life with loving family and friends. Gone too soon, he lives through memories. My heart goes out to those that shared in his love and grieve the loss. I extend heartfelt sympathy.

Jim was a very close friend to my boyfriend, Bob Crook, (now my husband) and I in college at CMU. Jim had this adorable smile and was so funny and fun to be with. Bob and I enjoyed occasional gatherings since college, with Jim, his wife and other CMU friends. Jim had a big heart and we treasure the times we had with him. He will be missed! ❤️

Jim was, and is, a memorable part of my life at Central Michigan University and in the decades that followed. I’ll remember Jim as a great friend and as someone who always treated me as family. Rest well, brother. Yours in the bond!

Our prayers go out to you and your family. Jim was such a special person to us. Our last contact with you and him was in San Antonio when we visited the Alamo. He was so loved. Sincerely. Mitzi
