I was saddened to read of J'Don's death, and I send my sincere condolences to the whole family. I was a nursing school classmate with J'Don, and then later a coworker and friend in the early years when both of us were starting our families. She was joyful at work and I will remember her smiling.

I got to know J'Don through St. Faustina. She was always there from the beginning 4 years ago. She was a great lector as she proclaimed the word of God. And she always had that sweet smile when I would see her at church. Marcus is a great asset to our building committee and I know J'Don supported him as we built our first building. I will miss that sweet smile. God bless you Marcus and family. Take care, Jeanmarie Mayfield

J'Don had been a dear friend and working colleague in the claims industry. I met J'Don about 5 years ago as we worked together with some of the business units of The Marmon Group. Both in the field of consulting, J'Don and I often partnered for the better interest of our respective client. She worked hard and was extremely knowledgeable...I learned a great deal from her. But most of all she was such a treat to work with over the years. She often made me laugh and I will miss that. J'Don was a true woman of kindness, generous with her words about her family...and she lover her proud of her kids, and was an extremely professional woman. She will certainly be missed and I shall cherish the time I had gotten to know her. My God bring comfort to her husband, children, grandchildren and family.

I worked with J'don for several years as she guided us with many aspects of Safety and Worker's Compensation at Fontaine Trailer in Haleyville, AL. She was so pleasant to be around and always had a beautiful smile on her face. I regarded her as a friend and am so sorry to hear of her untimely passing. My condolences to her family and many friends.

This picture is a favorite of Mom! Taken by her college roommate during her freshman year, this picture is special because Mom is proudly wearing both hers and Dad's high school senior rings.

Mom was on a mission to attend Stephen's law school hooding ceremony. Being a goal-oriented person, her strength and conviction were evident through her ability to deftly capture front row seats at the ceremony for the entire family!

Just a picture of Mom taking a picture! Oh, and her and Dad's first trip to Hawaii, of course!

Mom loved quilting and embroidery! After Stephen surprised Mom and Dad with a trip from Milwaukee to Houston for an extended “lunch date,” Mom was so excited to send him back home with a monogrammed apron!
