Joaquin Miguel Santos Achivida, age 68, of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Joaquin was born October 31, 1954 in Dededo, Guam. He graduated as salutatorian from Guam Vocational-Technical High School in 1972. He later received a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Guam. He went on to join the U.S. Navy where he served for 6 years and received numerous awards.
After leaving the military, he was hired at Avantek in Santa Clara, CA, where he met his wife Nilda Enriquez. He later continued his education and received a Bachelor's of Business Administration at San Jose State University. He went on to pursue business and worked at Hewlett-Packard for over 30 years.
He was preceded in rest by his parents Calixto and Maria Achivida. He is survived by his wife, Nilda, and their 2 children, Jonny and Jess; his siblings Bernie, Joseph, James, and Alex and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by the entire Achivida family, especially by his wife and children.
