John William Beatty

John was preceded in death by his father, Philip Beatty. He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Headley Beatty of Katy, TX; mother, Ruth Beatty; brother, Robert Beatty (wife Kaye); sister, Barbara Gurka (husband James); brother, Paul Beatty (wife Carol); nephews; Kyle, Daniel, Scott, Christopher, Jonmark and Matthew Beatty and niece; Elizabeth Beatty Estes (husband Jesse Estes) and grandniece Eliana Estes.

John was a Software Engineer who worked mainly in controls for oil field equipment and Gas Chromatography. He worked for companies such as Daniel and Emerson and owned his own consulting company, Kludges Begone, for 20 years. John was a 1985 graduate of Letourneau University with a BS in Computer Science and Engineering.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland, Blvd, Katy, TX 77494 at 12:30 PM with visitation at 11:00 AM.
