Joshua Laine Kachura passed away at 1:33am at Marine Corps Air Station New River of Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was born at 10:05am on August 27th, 1992 at University Medical Center of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Alex Kachura, and four cousins, Adrian Rain, Michael Hancock, Robert Kachura, and Brett Kachura. Joshua’s love for his family extended far past the confines of biological relation, and so he is survived in death by dozens who loved him as their own including his wife, Karson Kachura; his great grandmother, Mary Kathryn Kachura; his grandparents Reid and Florence Fletcher, Patricia and David Noel, Paul and Cathie Mobley, and Debbie Kachura; his parents Christopher and Sherry Kachura, Stephenie Noel, and Tiffany Sawyer; his siblings Cathryn Kachura, William Kachura, Alexander Kachura, Tony Noel, Lauren and Colton Bednarik, Brandon Domokos, and Genna Weston. He is also survived by countless aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew, and an entire adoptive family of Marines whom he loved and loved him like a brother. From the earliest days of his life, Joshua had a sense of humor that filled any room he entered with laughter. He was known for his contradictory loving soul and intense affinity with scaring people when they walked into a room. His smile was contagious and had a way of conveying his love for life without having to say a word. Joshua spent most of his life in Katy, Texas where he attended Morton Ranch High School and graduated in 2011. He then spent a year at Blinn College in College Station, Texas, before enlisting in the Marine Corps on November 5th, 2012, and serving a 6-month tour in Honduras, in 2015. To all who knew him, being a part of Joshua’s life was a privilege and an honor, and he loved with reckless abandon. He will be remembered most fondly for his willingness to be present for any person who needed him at any time for any reason. Joshua was courageous, he was strong, and he was a fierce friend, husband, brother, and son.
