She is survived by her great aunt Manuelita Garcia and her brother Guadalupe De La Cruz; her children, Esmeralda (Emilio) Gonzalez, Tomas Benavides, Jr. and Magdalena Benavides; grandchildren, Brian A. Villarreal, Felicia Martinez, Esmeralda “Nena” Gonzalez, Joshua Benavides, Faith Figueroa, Jacob Gonzalez, Joel Benavides and Luis Benavides; great-grandchildren, Kadence Villarreal, Tomas S. Gonzalez and Gabriel Cornelius; and numerous relatives. She will be missed by all.
