The greatest blessing about Faye leaving us first, is that she does not have to go through the pain and sorrow we all are experiencing. Our prayers are with your whole family as you come together in remembrance of the beautiful and loving woman your wife, mother and matriarch of the Swartz family was in person and is in spirit.

With our love and sympathy,

Mike and Margo Duswalt,

I met Katheryn at NOV in 2006 over the phone only and then in person in 2008. I loved her from the very start, she was just that kind of person. Katheryn was a REAL lady. She, Kathy Smith and I became a "lunch trio". We even had our own reserved corner of the in-house deli and were there practically EVERY day for several years. Katheryn was the ROCK and matriarch of our little group with her patience, advice (given discretely, sometimes with only an expression), love, smiles, comfort, support....I could go on and on. She always remembered my birthday when no one else even knew the date.
Rick, I lost my spouse many years ago and I know what it's like. Even though I'm a more spiritual than religious person, I'll be praying for you. Time will help, but having friends to lean on helps even more.
Katheryn is missed and will be missed and in my heart for a long time to come.

I have too many good memories to share just one. Faye was a dear friend and I will miss her. She and Rick have been like family to us and our daughters, who have called them Uncle Rick and Aunt Faye since they could speak. Praying for comfort for her dear husband and family. Love you.

I met Katheryn at National Oilwell Varco in 2007. We worked together until she retired in 2015. We kept in touch since her retirement. We spoke 3 weeks before she passed. She was my rock. Her steadiness kept me calm under pressure. Her faith got me through joblessness. She was a very important person in my life & I strive to be like her. She inspired a lot of people at NOV. she is missed. Rest in piece my friend.
