Kendall D Boone, age 61, of Richmond, Texas passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020 with his wife Linda and daughter Amani at his bedside.
Kendall was born April 22, 1959 in Huntsville, Alabama to Beatrice and Percy Boone. After 8 years of fighting neurosarcoidosis he succumbed to the difficulties of the disease. He was a fighter and his devoted wife Linda who fought by his side to the end.
Kendall graduated from Johnson High School where he played on the basketball team. He attended the University of Alabama and later moved to Houston, Texas where received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Texas Southern University. He started his corporate career with Fluor Daniel Corporation as a Human Resource Specialist then went to Eagle Global Logistics as Regional Human Resources Manager and spent 11 years with Cameron International as Director Human Resources Process Systems before falling ill.
Kendall was an avid reader, loved his music, ESPN sports, ID channel and Date Night with his wife. He loved his friends and had a strong bond with his brothers Jonathan, Larry, Frank, Willie, Thomas, Otis, Greg, William and Bruce just to name a few of the crew. His love for his cousins Anthony and Carlos was crazy. He was a very kind and caring person who adored his daughter Amani and was a proud #GirlDad. He loved and cherished his wife Linda who never stopped caring and fighting for his life while ensuring he had the best of care and comfort.
Kendall was proceeded in death by his mother, Beatrice Boone; father, Percy Boone; three aunts, four uncles and other cousins. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Amani; brother, Marcus; godson, Arian Rivers; in-laws, Rubin and Althea Johnson of Sandusky, OH.; aunt, Louise Jasper; four sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and many cousins and friends.
