Kendralyn Patrice Peltier, 36, was hospitalized on September 11, 2020. After a little over a month of multiple surgeries, she passed away Monday October 19, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family, who comforted her, as she took her last breath.
Kendralyn was born September 29, 1984, in Lafayette, Louisiana. In her 36 years, she was full of life. Even on her roughest days, she laughed and smiled in order to keep everyone else around her cheerful. She believed in family and always being there for one another. Her four daughters were her life, her joy and her comfort. They were who she lived for. She was also extremely passionate about spending and enjoying time with her family and friends. If there were any opportunity to have a family get together, she would make sure it happened! So, as we remember her, we must also remember one of her favorite quotes, “Boy, y’all wack!... TURN UP!”
Kendralyn Patrice Peltier is survived by her parents; Rachel Hicks and Patrick Joiner; grandparents, Theresa Martin, Pastor Llyod Joiner Jr. and Shirley Joiner; brothers, Kendall Peltier and Evander Stallworth; sister, Jayla Thomas. She leaves behind her fiancé, Daniel Senegal; daughters, Lundon Calhoun, Paris Williams, Mulan Peltier and Syria Peltier; and a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
Kendralyn was a wonderful mother, daughter, soulmate and friend, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Memorial Hermann Hospital and staff who took great care of her in her final days of life.
