

Leslie was born July 11th, 1938, in East Orange, New Jersey. Leslie was a long-time resident of Katy, Texas. She graduated from John H. Reagan High School. She also attended Katy First United Methodist Church and was a loving mother and a friend to all.
Leslie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Calvin Rutledge; parents, Alfred Dickerson Coe and Edith Marion Coe; brothers, Alfred Dickerson Coe, James Coe and Peter Hunt Coe; and her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Dube. She leaves behind her sons, Bill Rutledge and wife, Carolyn, of Kosse, TX; Mike Rutledge and wife, Amanda, of Waller, TX; James Rutledge and wife, Alene, of Montgomery, TX; Mark Rutledge and wife, Amy, of Richmond, TX; daughters, Cheryl Caruthers, of Houston, TX and Karen Baker, of Sugar Land, TX. She also leaves behind her grandkids, Jason and partner, Meredith; Alan and wife, Kelli; Jason and wife, Krista; Blake and wife, Lacey; Cody and wife, Whitney; Tyler and wife, Kelsey; Justin and wife, Ashley; Calvin and wife, Brandi; Dustin and wife, Rachel; Jennifer; Dillon and wife, Katie; Cody; Cheyenne; Tommy; Nichole and husband, Alvin; Natosha and husband, Chris; and Samuel and wife, Kayla. Leslie also leaves behind 38 great grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids.
Leslie was a proud mother of 6 and worked with Fort Bend ISD for 20 years. She baked and sold lovely all occasion cakes. Her 4 hobbies were her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Leslie was a loving mother and friend to all she met.
