I miss my big sister. If you ever want to know where to find her, seek out a quiet corner of a bookstore. She'll be there reading something good. Love you my LaLa.

Dear Loretta,
You touched my life in so many ways. Your smile, your wisdom, and your laugh. You filled our lives with such joy and your light will shine on every time we remember. I know you are in God's warm embrace and I send love and prayers of comfort to those you've left behind. Gone from us but never forgotten.

Ah, Loretta, why’d you have to go? I miss you so much, my heart is about to burst into a million pieces. Maybe that’s what love is. It can’t be contained and it never ends, not even when life on earth does. If you can’t be here with me, and all of us who love you, I pray you’re with them all. I still need you guys and your help, ‘cause you know I don’t know what to do a lot of the time. You guys keep me going when I have to fake it.
You were in the lightening, rain and thunder last night, I know it was you because a rainbow broke through. I love you, forever and a day, big sister, forever and a day.

What a beauty-inside and out! I grew up next to Loretta and always looked up to and admired her. She corralled and encouraged all us neighborhood kids-we held circuses, plays and Halloween haunted houses. I love seeing these pictures-her smile is ever present and infectious. I wish you all well, enjoy those memories.

Mom, this doesn't seem real; I love and miss you. This chapter may be over, but your story continues, and then...

Miss you so much mom. Every decision we’re making I want to “check with you first”. I know I can talk to you anytime and you’ll always be here for me. Kiss grandma and grandpa.

What can I say about Loretta? She was one of the kindest people to me throughout my entire life regardless of the decisions I made and even though we weren’t always close, I knew she was always there. She had the most wonderful heart and always had a warm hug waiting anytime I saw her. She will be sorely missed, RIP Ms. Loretta.
