Lucia was born to Susana Castillo and Jose Vargas during the best time of the year on December 26th, 1982. All her life she was a charismatic and spirited person who loved animals, cooking, and art. Originally from Chicago, she was the only person we knew that loved the strong, cold winter winds of our city. Lucia enjoyed the snow, and the holiday season was her favorite time of year because she was a giving person. She would get a twinkle in her eyes whenever she found the perfect gift for someone, even if it was something small.
Lucia passed away in an untimely manner while visiting Houston, TX and her manner of death is still unknown. She is survived by her parents Susana and Jose, sister Noelia, sons Antonio and Diego, and grandson Liam.
