Maddox Jay Mandagelo

Maddox’s young life was cut way too short, but while he was here, he filled the days of his family with sweetness and light. Whether it was listening and smiling the entire time while his mommy sang “You Are My Sunshine” to him or his Papa sang the Sesame Street theme song, or going with his Nonie and the cats on their frequent walks around the block, or spending time learning the fine art of blowing raspberries with his daddy, Maddox could make anyone smile just by flashing his dimples.

Maddox is survived by his parents, Shawn Mandagelo of Katy and Destiny Rawls of Pearland; brother, Marshall Donalson; grandparents, Nonie Tricia and Papa Mike Mandagelo of Katy and Mimi Marilyn and Pops David Rawls of Pearland; great-grandmother, Gigi Dorothy Mandagelo of Katy, Morris and Patsye Lively of Austin and Bob and Dorothy Kilgore of Dallas; Uncle Kiefer Mandagelo of Katy, Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Paul Brockenbush of Rockdale and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Dignity (Katy) Funeral home from 1pm with a reception to follow at Smith Ranch 25440 Beckendorff Rd. Katy, TX 77493
