Mum,
you were always there for me. You played so many roles in my life. You were so much more than a parent. You were my rock, my cheerleader, my therapist, my advisor, my everything , mu mum and last but not least you were my best friend.  Your sass and love for life lives on through your grandchildren. They were so lucky to have you as their Granny. You let them off with things that made us - your own children - stand there in shock - you would just laugh and say it was your reward for having to raise us and putting up with us for so long.  We will forever have an emptiness in our hearts but we will share our memories and continue to  talk you

Margaret was not only a cousin to my Dad (Jock Syme) but my godmother and friend to us all. Along with Per and her beautiful daughters they made my son Kerr and I so welcome when we visited them in Texas. We were lucky to have spent time with Margaret and made memories to last a life time. ♥️♥️

I’m Neil and spent a huge part of my young life growing up around Margaret and involving Robert & Mary Baxter (Uncle Bob & Auntie Mary to me) the parents of Margaret and Helen. Margaret and Helen were like older sisters to me and my sister Lien and did simple things with me that helped me mature and also feel safe and secure. 

One summers day I wanted to go cycling somewhere from home (Aberfeldy) but not just near by, but an adventure. My mother & father didn’t approve so Margaret said “she would take me”, to my delight. We set off with a picnic and cycled some 8-10 miles away to Kenmore beach on the side of Loch Tay and had a fabulous day. On the way home I spotted a red squirrel that had been injured and pleaded with Margaret to let me pick it up and take it home, so she agreed to this and I did with it wrapped in my jumper. Simple thing and not met with joy when I arrived home but it was a small thing to happen and a huge thing for me. Margaret dealt with all the rest. Neil x

Margaret was such a dear friend of ours and I cannot wrap my head around the fact she is really gone from this earth. I have never met anyone that loved life, her family and horses as much as Margaret.  We went to Maui together for her daughter's and our son's wedding.  It was quite a trip but we had more fun than the bridal couple because we were so alike but very different and found wonderful places to eat and drink.  We also went to Akumal Mexico, Lake Livingston, Texas and still had more fun together than our children had.  I pray I get to see her again because she is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met and I will love her forever.

I will miss this sweet lady!!  We laughed so hard sitting at the dinner table at a trail ride when she told me she had “weevils” as I got into a lengthy story about how to get rid of the pesky bugs she just laughed and laughed at me so hard she was crying.  Then she repeated over and over until I could understand with  her thick accent that she had a “wee bowl”  (soup that is). We always laughed about that with Peaches, as I called him because I could never remember his name.   I loved her so much, till we meet again, go rest high on that mountain with Cisco. 

Margaret was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever had the priviledge of knowing.  She was always smiling, fun to be around and I could not have asked for a better Mother-in-Law to my son.  We had many great times together and I will miss her dearly. 

Such a lovely lady with a beautiful smile .  Her voice was so musical   it was a pleasure to hear.   So many fond memories of the three Muskateers;   Margaret  and Nanetta and Bonnie  and their special camaraderie  riding down the road together.  Always a bright light in our days.  She will be greatly missed .

We met Margaret at Freeman Ranch. It was a joy to see her riding and how much she loved her animals, especially her horses. She had such a wonderful smile that would make you smile immediately. She will be missed. 

Margaret was always a supporter of our trail ride events for Wagon 6. Always smiling, a genuinely happy person. Last year in October she messaged me concerned about my husband who was going in for cancer surgery. Yet, she was dealing with her own health issues and other personal issues. But she took the time to reach out and show her concern. I will never forget that. We will see you again, Margaret. Until then, rest in peace, my friend.

I meet Margaret over twenty years ago when I started cleaning her house. She considered me a friend and so did I. I loved her dearly. She would always offer me a coffee when I arrived and we would sit and talk. I will miss her so much. May she be with our Lord and Savior. Rest in heaven my Margaret. My condolences to all of her family. 

You will be greatly missed. You were such a ray of sunshine and always smiling. To All your family - know that she loved you all. Margaret we will be together again in Heaven. 

I remember  her from Bøler when I Wentzel in class with Catriona. A lovely woman ❤

Our sincerest condolences for the passing of your loved one, Margaret was such a wonderful person, her smile lit up a room when she entered, will always remember the wonderful times we had with her on trailrides, may she rest and peace.

I miss you!    What wonderful times we shared.  You were smart, tough, feisty, opinionated, strong, caring, kind, loving, - I could go on.   Your words of encouragement helped me thru tough times.   We were there for each other - thank goodness.   Our meeting years ago was meant to be.  I treasure  our friendship.   Riding has not been the same without you but I will keep going to make you proud.  I am proud you were my friend ❤️
