Martha Beatriz Avila

April 26, 1950 – June 19, 2026

Martha Beatriz Mantilla, (formerly Martha Avila) 76, of Katy, Texas, passed away on June 19, 2026, in a tragic accident when a Tesla lost control and crashed into her home.

Born on April 26, 1950, in San José de Minas, Pichincha, Ecuador, to Hugo Mantilla and Alicia Loza, Martha was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who built a life rooted in family and love.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer and Janneth, and her four grandchildren, Kelly, Seth, Adeline, and Elise, who she adored and who will carry her memory forward.

Martha will be remembered for the warmth, strength, and unconditional love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She leaves behind a family forever grateful for the years they had with her.

Martha will be laid to rest in Los Angeles California next to her son Jeffrey on August 6th, 2026
