May Ying Vang

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of May Ying Vang, who left us on November 16, 2025. Born on February 24, 1981, May Ying filled the lives of those around her with warmth, love, and a gentle strength that will be deeply missed.

May Ying shared more than 17 wonderful years with her devoted life partner, Huy Nguyen. Together they built a life filled with companionship, laughter, and cherished memories. Some of

their happiest moments were spent cooking delicious meals together, a shared passion that brought them joy and closeness. She also loved fishing, gaming, and simply spending time with

Huy. Those who knew May Ying often associated her with the color purple, which suited her vibrant yet calming presence perfectly.

May Ying adored the pets who brought so much comfort and happiness into her home: Minnie, Uber, Nami, Velika, Tifa, Kuma, Yuna, and Yuki.

She is survived by her life partner, Huy Nguyen; her father, Nyia Vang; her mother, Pay Chang; and her siblings: Chua Vang, Toua Vang, David Vang, Pang Vang Xiong, May Vang, Daniel Vang, Drulynne Vang, Jason Vang, Ame Vang, and Ernie Vang.

She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her generosity, and the love she shared so freely. As Huy lovingly says, “I will always love her forever and for always.”
