Michelle is survived by her daughter, Sarah McSwain; her sister, Sandra Whitehead; and her nephews, Justin and Brandon Dumas. She is predeceased by her husband, Marc McSwain; cousin, Tony Blascke; and her grandmother, Bess Blascke.
Michelle was born in Richmond, Texas, on Tuesday, January 30, 1968. She graduated from the Art Institute of Houston with an Associates of Applied Science degree. On June 24, 1995, she married Marc, an IT security analyst, and on May 12, 1996, she welcomed her daughter, Sarah, who she loved greatly.
Michelle was far more than just a mom; she was also a fun loving best friend. She loved Marvel movies and never missed an opening weekend for any disaster movie. She could drink anyone under the table, so long as the drink in mention was a boba tea. She adored animals, and most importantly loved her wonderful kitties Groot and Usuke, and her little yorkie Cowboy. She loved music, and loved rock concerts even more. She had a passion for art, and made greeting cards every holiday for friends. She loved Godzilla so much that she had a big tattoo of him on her back. She dreamed of driving the Autobahn in Germany. She could make anyone laugh. She has left behind a hole in the hearts of those that loved her.
A service celebrating Michelle’s life will be Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 2:00PM, in the Rio Grande Chapel of Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Boulevard, Katy, Texas 77494. Chaplain Daniel Schramm will officiate.
