I remember a time told to me before Miguel and I first met that he didn’t know if he was going to get along with me or not because he never really enjoyed talking to me”ditzy” girls lol little did he know that I would become like a little sister to him and he’d become like a brother to me. Not a day goes by that I don’t remember such amazing memories him and I have shared and also getting to remember the best moments of finding out that Mateo was coming into this world to live on a beautiful legacy of his daddy! Mateo is growing into such a brilliant young man and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for him! Forever missed but never forgotten! Love you Miguel and continue looking down from above on your beautiful successful loving mother for your beautiful son!

This saddens me I know Miguel Loved my cousin he worked so hard being in the plumbing industry I know it wasn’t easy  he stuck it out was trying to provide for his family then his chapter changed two years ago bringing a whole new life into this world Mateo they were proud parents and watching their son grow  Words can’t even explain how deeply this hurts but I know he is watching down he will forever be that guardian angel for his little boy and Angie he will never  be forgotten 

Cuando conocí  a Miguel fue un día que llegó a la casa preguntando por Angelica llamó a la puerta y yo abrí y cuando lo vi no me gustó y le cerré la puerta, como quiera mi hija salió y otra ves también llegó a la casa y está ves mi hija lo recibió y ahí lo empecé a tratar me fue ganando el corazón  después se casaron y lo llegué a querer como si hubiera sido mi hijo. Y siempre que venía a la casa me decía ma ma cuando se va a ir a vivir con nosotros y otras veces me decía porque me cerro la puerta cuando fui a ver a su hija.  Estos 11 años fueron para mi unos años muy bonitos concerniente al matrimonio de mi hija porque siempre los vi muy unidos y con mucho amor y yo ne sentía muy contenta de verlos muy felices, después Dios les mando lo más hermoso que es mi nieto.  Es lo más hermoso que Miguel le dejó a mi hija que su bebé y por el mi hija tiene que salir adelante. Lo vamos a extrañar bastante porque fue un muchacho muy bueno que Dios le de el descanso eterno y brille para el la luz perpetua así sea.




Miguel, I always remember how respectful and humble you were. Every time I saw you, you were with a smile… from the time you and Angie first got together to later becoming a married man and father. You loved and honored your family and I know you are with our creator.

RIP Miguel  

Angelica was a student in my ASL classes years ago. I remember her coming in one evening, as she took the night classes, and was glowing. I saw twinkles in her eyes. She moved as if she was dancing. This was the effect Miguel had. Angelica then told me the story about meeting Miguel while working at the tile store together. How amazing he was, how supportive, and this was just the beginning. Angelica later became an intern ASL interpreter... She was madley in love. Time passed, Miguel proposed. Miguel and Angelica travels together, created a family together, and made the world a better place by being who they are. Miguel was a wonderful father, husband, and friend to everyone who knew him. 

My favorite memory with Miguel was that one Sunday we were working at floor and decor and when we got off work we decided to all go as a group to papas BBQ and it was a special going on for all you can eat ribs and we took advantage of that, there was a game playing at the same time and we were all feasting and laughing and having a good time, I will never forget how much ribs he ate that day! I hope to see him again one day, and have an endless feast again!

My husband and I only got to hang out a couple of times with Miguel and Angelica. The one thing we always saw each time we hung out was how much Miguel and Angelica loved each other and how they were a perfect match. They exemplified what a couple and family should look like. Miguel also showed he was a great provider for his young family. 

The last memory I had with Miguel was at his house in Katy, my husband and I went to help them install a pool, that day he and his brother cooked for us he was a super sweet and pleasant person that afternoon we had a blast at his house he  prepared a delicious sauce, we enjoyed with Angy her son Mateo and his brother, we said goodbye and made plans to meet again but that never happened, the last time I saw him was on my son's birthday.  Miguel was always aware of her son that day he was always behind Mateo who was walking around the yard because he had just learned to walk, undoubtedly the best father, husband and friend in the world.

Miguel was such a great man.  He was such a caring and loving person who would give his shirt off of his back if you needed it. His smile would put a smile on your face. His laugh was contagious. His love for Angie and Miguel Mateo was priceless. He was a wonderful example of what a husband, father, and friend should be. He will be missed by so many people.
 

I just remember that me and Angie were going to lunch together when we worked at floor a d decor, and I remember that one day Angie was like my husband is going to join us. And I was like awkward I am going to a 3rd wheel lol. She was like o no not at all. It was then when I was like literally no stranger at all. We went to Carl’s Jr. Miguel was so nice and he literally felt like he was part of Angie and it was so beautiful to see them together. 

Miguel was a very caring and loving human being. I will always keep your memory alive and your son my nephew will know what kind of man you truly were     
I promise you that brother n law. I’ll never forget the time we stopped at what a burger to get a bit to eat after work and you ordered the triple meat with bacon in between each patty and I ordered a #1 and I just laughed to myself knowing you loved food as we were finishing up and just about to leave is when Angélica called you to pick her up something to eat so we drove up to Chick-fil-A and you ordered my sisters food then as I was looking over at what a burger where we just had eaten not even a few minutes ago I hear you ordering another meal and that’s when I turned to you and asked who’s that for and you replied oh it’s for me and I looked at you with this surprising look on my face as I chuckled I said to Miguel, Bro! We just got through eating a few minutes ago you just ate a whole cow and  know your going to eat a whole chicken too! As I said that Miguel looks at me  with this look as if why I’m so surprised then we both laughed and drove off  to the house. 

Till the end brother n law & my friend until we meet again I will miss you deeply as my heart hurts I will never forget how amazing of a human being you were and you will always be in my memories and my heart, you were the best thing that happened to are family. Love you brother always & forever. 😢😔

You were one of a kind Miguel. The good always go early to pave the way for the rest. I will always cherish our 1hr long conversations after work on our way home. The way you loved my kids like your own and how you always helped with homework, our cooking advise and how we loved each other’s  cooking but always criticized our own. Thank you for all those wonderful memories and for taking care of my sister. I know you’ll still help her along the way and I’ll make sure that Mateo is always reminded of what a great man you were. This one has been the hardest to accept. We all miss you so much.

Miguel was a sweet and caring person which I met him and his wonderful  wife at floor and decor those were the good days .You will missed 

A very special kind person. Always smiling and what I remember is that without even saying a word you can tell how much he loved you Angie and being a dad. It was like y’all  were still dating lol. True love. He will never be forgotten. 

He was always so kind at family gatherings.  His love for Angie was all over his face.

There was a day at work when Angelica was choking on a piece of chicken and she ran out the brake room and I remember just standing there panicking on what to do. In seconds!! Miguel appeared so quickly I honestly did not know where he came from but he reacted fast and did the  Heimlich maneuver and was able to help Angelica. That forever stayed with me that was a good husband!! 


Miguel is one to never be forgotten for the innocent and welcoming demeanor he had.A guy that you could spark a conversation with just about anything.He always had a positive outlook at things - even if the outlooks were slim to none at looking good.For that matter, I know for sure, that his children will be nothing but his personality tenfold.Therefore,Morfin (what we called him at the Local) will always be here.

They say when your younger, your cousins are your first friends and for me that was no exceptions. 
Since I am only 6 months older than Miguel, our parents raised us together and even dressed us alike.😊(in every old pic he would also say he was the gorgeous one lol) Growing up together, everytime i went over to his house we would play games, from hide and seek to playing his nintendo64, he would mostly beat me at playing because i cant play for beans lol but toward the end he would always let me win. Thats the kind of person Miguel was, putting others first before him, just to see you smile and make you feel better. 
He was a kind, gentle soul, his laugh was loud but amazingly contagious, he was a good man and an even better dad. 
To Miguel:My hope is that Miguel Mateo and my Ella will grow up with each other just as we did primo. I know you will be watching over your family and just know you will forever missed by all of us.

Miguel was my classmate and my friend. I wasn’t living right at the time, but Miguel never judged me. Instead he would care and help me as a friend. He was always a true friend! I never saw him without a smile and a great attitude! His joy in life was contagious! I’m blessed to have known Miguel and I’ll continue to pray for his family!! 

I write this with a heavy heart on losing a great friend. Miguel always had a smile on his face and was never a dull moment with him. I remember talking with him on the amazing Barcelona trip he had with his wife and still remember him telling me when she got pregnant with their baby boy. He was a genuine guy and was always there for you. It saddens me knowing you’re not here anymore but you will never be forgotten. We had so many good memories from eating at pluckers with Elmer, Johnny, Tito, and myself and also playing poker in class with all of us too lol! You would even make that far drive to come play at my house! This isn’t a goodbye this is just a see you later my brother. Plumber68 boys for life! 

Your father was the light your mommy was looking for to brighten her life, and as their love grew bigger and bigger then they made the most beautiful little little light his name is Miguel Mateo, your daddy will always be your light from above, he was a great man who loved you so so very much. 

One memory that will always stay with me is when I told my tio I wanted help practicing soccer so I can make the team. He didn’t hesitate and told me yes the same exact day we practiced for hours and mind you he would work in the heat for countless hours and come home tired and still have the time to help me practice without a doubt. There were times we would practice for hours and even times we had Mateo practice with us I will never forget the time I spent with my tio on this earth, and I hope that one day when Mateo is older I can teach him everything his dad taught me. 

Hi, I’m Carolina Arturo’s wife one of Miguel’s Best Friends. I met Miguel up and personal in June of 2017 when he delivered my sister’s graduation cake. How could I forget that scrumptious delicious cake. My mouth waters every time I think of it.🤤 and since that day forward  both Miguel and Angelica became our personal bakers for our special events.🎂 

I witnessed Miguel’s and Arturo’s bond grow over the years. I myself grew fond of them competing over FIFA, and hearing my sore loser husband say “ I just can’t beat that guy!” Growing frustrated and determined to beat Miguel. He will play for hours on end to unlock players. Some nights Miguel will first call Arturo before facing each other only to teased him. Some of the conversations will go like this;

  “Titoooo! What you doiiiiiing?! You unlock those players, yet?! Arturo will reply with “I’m trying. I’m trying.” Miguel “let’s try your new team then.” 

And even with his new unlock players he couldn’t beat Miguel.  Lots of chuckles and laughs when they both played with each other.  Hearing my husband’s laugh will make me laugh. He will exclaimed to me all of Miguel’s trash talk. I would just chuckle.  Forever Good Times!

I remembered the time Miguel and Angelica were having a raffle for Valentine’s Day and my husband happen to win those scrumptious chocolate 🍫 cupcakes. 🧁 Wink!😉 LOL. Miguel really made my husband day that day. As he’s always been a fan of his cakes and especially his favorite flavor chocolate. 🍫 

Miguel and Arturo were very good friends and no one forgets a friendship like that. Miguel your not in our physical world anymore, but you will forever be in our hearts. ♥️ Thank You for given my husband and me such good laughs and yummy treats. We promised to be here for your wife Angelica  and son Mateo. Miguel you will forever be loved, never forgotten and forever missed! 🕊

I remember the first time I met your dad. Your mom was working with me as an intern in the interpreter program. I will never forget how he looked at your mom. He couldn't hide the love he had for her. I'm sure he had the same love for you! I know he is watching over you and your mom. May God bess you and keep you both in His hands.

I have so many AMAZING memories that I will forever cherish in my heart. Best memory is us playing games and laughing together nearly in tears. I remember the time where we were in the car and I put on a song that he would have never imagined me knowing the while lyrics to and seeing his reaction was the best. Just seeing how Miguel and his wife Angelica would look at eachother and seeing that genuine love they had for one another I will forever hold in my heart. 

I met Miguel at floor and decor warehouse. He was one of the coolest and laid back man you’ll ever meet. Funny story while we were pulling now tickets for a customer we were so into pulling fast and catching Pokémon on Pokémon go. Funnest times on a very stressful job. Rest In Peace and my condolences 💐

Miguel and me were just always together from the first time we met. The first time I got to a job site was when we was working at the Marriott with the Texas pool we were in the first floor and I was looking for material I looked lost didn't have a clue where anything was at. We were 2nd year apprentice so we both were really trying our best to be the best that we can be and new time was very crucial because of our journeyman we were trying to impress he help me out their was our first time speaking to each other I thank him and later on that day we had to go to class not knowing we had the same class.  We sat together talked about to the jobsite helped me with locations of the materials and we helped each other with out school work. Time flew 3 year of apprenticeship was probably are best year in school but hated we had Saturday classes. We had Mr.Santos coolest teacher we had learned alot but we had fun as well Mr.Santos used to challenge Miguel on a eating certain foods Miguel was always up to the challenge and one day he challenge him a 12 pattie burger from papa's bar b que. Wow the bets were made and  Miguel was up for the challenge and boy I tell you he killed that I was in his corner cheering him on lol 😆  I don't know how he did it but after that he was on a food coma lol he was gone sleeping ..I won us some money spilt it with him called it a day. Our last year of apprenticeship we always played poker never failed he used to wake me up from my truck saying nope my money can't sleep let's go lol and me instead of sleeping here I go following him it was Miguel, Johnny, Elmer, and Joe.  Never we had a dull moment  always had a great time with each other. Theirs a lot more but my words are almost maxing out lol. Miguel you was like a brother to me man and you knew that because you told me the same thing. I thank God for letting our life's cross paths I love you bro from your good friend Tito until we meet again.
