Natividad Reyes Mina

Natividad was born on September 12, 1931 in Manila, Philippines to Jose and Consuelo Reyes. She graduated from the University of the East with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education. She also completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work at the University of Santo Tomas. She taught high school at E. Rodriguez Jr. High School in Quezon City and eventually served as a guidance counselor. She worked there for more than 20 years until the family’s migration to the United States.

Naty is survived by her loving children, Angelica Macahilig, Clarissa and Fernando Mina of Katy, Texas; son-in-law, Ronald Macahilig and grandchildren, Vincent and Bianca Macahilig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Mina; her parents; brothers, Fernando, Amando and Antolin Reyes; and sister, Veneranda Reyes.

A Rosary and Funeral service will be held at Katy Funeral Home (23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX) on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 3 pm. Following the funeral service, a public visitation will be held from 4–6 pm directly followed by a catered reception from 6–8 pm.
