Nellie Marie Ham

Our beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend Ms. Nellie Marie Ham of Richmond, TX went on to her heavenly home May 23, 2023, at the age of 80 years old. Nellie was born in Saginaw, Michigan on May 15, 1943, to the late Leon and Minnie Ham.

Nellie was a 1960 graduate of Saginaw High School. She found delight in her career as an accountant for the U.S. Government. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, writing, watching movies and traveling. She loved to take cruises.

Nellie leaves to cherish her memory, her bonus son Jarrah Johnson of Houston, TX, sisters Gwendolyn Pagan of Rochester, NY; Sarah Ham (James) of Sarasota, FL, Frances Ham - Zackrie (Dr. Albert) of Richmond, TX; nephews Rob, Jamie and Jim Pagan, DeRonnie Turner (Yolanda) and Darvin Ham (Deneitra)); nieces Ina Haywood (Charles), Tameka Scott (Clayton), DeToya Ham and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Ms. Nellie Marie Ham was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Minnie Ham, brothers Marshall, Renaldo, Howard and Thurman Ham and nephew Roderick Ham.
