Nichol “Nicki” Morgan peacefully embarked on her final journey on Saturday, October 17, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, faith, and selfless service that touched countless lives.
Born in Auburn, California, in 1944, Nicki's life was one of adventure, devotion, and unwavering love. Her journey took her around the world, allowing her to build lasting friendships and create cherished memories wherever she went.
To her family, Nicki was a constant source of comfort, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her children, Ervis Jr., Eric, Jim, Julie, and Janice, and their spouses, will forever treasure the familiar greetings that opened and closed so many conversations: “Hi Honey” and “Love You.” These simple words reflected the warmth, affection, and steadfast devotion that defined her life.
Nicki's love extended far beyond her immediate family. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, nieces, nephews, and the many dear friends she considered family were all blessed by her generous spirit, compassionate heart, and unwavering presence. She possessed a remarkable gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely loved.
Although our hearts are heavy with the loss of her physical presence, we find comfort in the knowledge that she was welcomed into her eternal home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and reunited with her beloved husband, Jack.
The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered Nicki friendship, support, care, and companionship throughout her life. Your kindness brought immeasurable comfort to both Nicki and those who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made in Nicki's honor to:
Dewville Methodist Church P.O. Box 404 Nixon, TX 78140
Nicki's faith, love, and gentle spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her. While she has completed her earthly journey, her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched and the enduring memories she leaves behind.
"Hi Honey" and "Love You" will forever echo in our hearts.
A Memorial Service celebrating Nicki's life will be conducted by Pastor Rip Collins on October 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
