Pat Prater was born and raised in Kingsville, Texas, where her lively personality shone brightly from an early age. She was strong-willed and never afraid to speak her mind. She brought joy wherever she went and was known for her big, unforgettable laugh that could fill any room. She married the love of her life, Tim Prater, in Kingsville, and together they shared nearly 57 years of devotion and family. Pat’s faith in Jesus Christ remained her source of strength through every season of her life.
Pat loved her family fiercely, and nothing meant more to her than time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She loved time spent traveling with her sister, Jean, and her brother-in-law, Bill Chamberlain. Even as dementia slowed her in later years, it never dimmed her joy or her ability to light up when family walked through the door. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her contagious laughter, and the love she poured into those around her. Her legacy lives on in the generations she cherished so dearly.
