To the Ramtahal family,

Memories of laughter and funny statements come to mind when remembering Paul’s life. To have left a memory where one’s presence cheers the heart rather than cause despair is a legacy that keeps on giving. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, that you may overflow with hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

My deepest condolences to Erica and the family of Paul.
We were colleagues at the Talparo primary school and shared many memories of the games and prank played in that classroom in that school on the hill
But today you are gone. And so in your parting I say may you be at peace with your angels.
Rest in peace my friend.

Our families met many years ago while we both resided in Trinidad. A true friendship developed, and you gave me the greatest honor by allowing me to deliver and name your precious daughter. Even after migrating to the United States, our families remained in touch allowing our friendship to grow even deeper. Your presence will be sorely missed, but we cling to the blessed hope that we will meet again in the Earth made new.

To my dear friend Erica, your children Jason, and Janine, and the rest of family, I pray that God will grant you peace and comfort as only He can. Because we believe, we know that Paul is sleeping now awaiting that great resurrection morning. Let us live in harmony with one another so that we all can meet on that beautiful shore on that glorious day.

Paul, sweet be your rest until Jesus returns.

To Sis Erica, Jason and Janine-
On behalf of the Ramgoolie family, I would like to extend my sincerest and deepest condolences on the passing of your dear loved one. Paul was one of the funniest and humblest people I knew. I knew him since I was a child and admired over the years how much he loved his home country and village. While human words may seem vacuous at this time, I leave you with the assuring words of the Apostle Paul that reminds us that we do not grieve as those without hope; for sooner than ever before, Christ will come and you would see your dear husband and father again. We look forward to that day. Until then, may you find rest in the comforting arms of our loving Saviour.

To : Paul’s wife and children
I remain ever so grateful for the enduring valued friendship shared with Paul over the years. From his humble beginnings learning his craft on BP offshore platforms on Trinidad’s SE coast unto his last days setting up automated industrialized plants throughout the USA. Largely responsible for his progress I would hazard a guess was his simple, kind words and big smile that could disarm anyone of anything threatening in their future ongoing relationship.. RIP my dearly departed friend Paul !
