Pedro "Pete" Garcia Jr

With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Pedro Garcia, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished family man, and loyal friend, who passed away on September 18, 2026.

Pete was the beloved husband of Nora Ann Garcia, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment. He was a proud father to Ruben James Garcia, Christina Alvey, and Katy Renee Garcia, who were the center of his world and brought him immeasurable joy throughout his life.

Pete was a man who worked hard and loved even harder.

Pedro was born in a little town called Fabin’s in El Paso, Texas to his parents Pedro Garcia Sr. and Virginia Garcia.

Throughout his career as a mechanical electrician and welder, he took great pride in his craftsmanship, dedication, and strong work ethic. He was respected by those who worked alongside him and admired his ability to fix just about anything.

When he wasn't working, Pete could often be found enjoying some of his greatest passions which include NHRA drag racing and being a jack of all trades. Whether watching a race, talking shop with friends, or sharing jokes and laughing with family. Nothing could compare to the joy and the love he found in spending time with his wife, children, family, and friends; family gatherings were important.

Pete loved his Catholic faith, his favorite saint was St. Jude Thaddeus, he found comfort, guidance, and strength in his relationship with God. His faith shaped the way he lived his life, treating others with kindness, generosity, and compassion.

Those who knew Pete will remember his warm heart, his sense of humor, his willingness to help anyone in need, and the love he had for his family. He left a lasting impression on everyone, fortunate enough to know him.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in the countless memories he leaves behind and in the love that will continue to live on through his family. His legacy is one of loyalty, hard work, faith, and unconditional love.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Nora Ann Garcia; his children, Ruben James Garcia, Christina Alvey, and Katy Renee Garcia; He loved his grandchildren which includes, AJ, Michael, Jenny, Jude, Nico, Benny, and Gabriel; his parents, Pedro Garcia Sr. and Virginia Garcia along with many family members, friends, and loved ones who will miss him deeply and carry his memory forward.

He will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
