

Henahan, Rachel (Nacianceno); left this world too early on February 21, 2015 surrounded by her family; at her home in Katy, TX after a courageous battle with cancer and Takayasu’s Arteritis. Born November 29, 1980 in Pontiac, Michigan, this beautiful wife and mother of two grew up in Pontiac, MI and graduated from Notre Dame Prep High School in 1998. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2003, during which time she was active in her sorority (Sigma Kappa). Rachel was an avid cook, crafter, stamper, jewelry maker, homemaker, and most importantly, loving mother. She lived to take care of her family, and her greatest joy was her children. Often described as a “mother to all”, she will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.Rachel was preceded in death by her father, Joe; and her grandfather, Rosalio. She is survived by her husband, James; children, James and Arelia; mother, Robin; brothers, Drew, Ricky, and Joey; sisters, Marissa, Lacey, Destiny, and Katie; grandmothers, Carolina and Wilma; step-father, Rick; parents-in-law, Jim, Renee, and John; and a wealth of cousins and friends. Services will be held at CrossPoint Community Church in Katy, TX at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Additional services will be held at It’s a Matter of Taste in Commerce, Michigan at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
