Reid Hammer was born July 29th, 1985 in Katy, Texas, to Kim and Jeff Hammer. He graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2004, and then served 7 years in the Texas National Guard. He worked for several land surveying companies in the Houston area. Reid was an avid swimmer at the age of 4. He enjoyed playing guitar, skeet shooting, skateboarding, and reading books about the history of World War I and II and war strategies.
He leaves his mother, Kim Chambless of Katy, brother Thomas Hammer, sister-in-law Megan, two nephews, Jett and Levi, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves longtime girlfriend and best friend Jennifer Kacal. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and Father Jeffrey Hammer. Reid will be truly missed by all. A Celebration of life is planned at a later date.
