

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Remedios G. Ilagan, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Remedios passed away peacefully on 12/17/2024, surrounded by her loved ones, at the age of 69.
Born on January 23, 1955, in Manila, Philippines, Remedios was the beloved daughter of Patricio Guevarra and Carmen Cruz. She grew up in a loving family alongside her siblings Paz Pasia, Virgilio Guevarra, and Adoracion Guevarra Agustin. She was predeceased by her brother, Florencio Guevarra.
Remedios led an extraordinary life defined by her dedication to others. She earned a degree in Business and successfully managed her own business for several years. Later, she followed her passion for helping others by becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse, providing compassionate care to individuals with physical and mental disabilities. Her kindness, empathy, and unwavering commitment to her work left a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rodolfo Dalisay Ilagan, and is survived by her two devoted sons, Daniel Ilagan (married to Rowena) and Paolo Ilagan (married to Melanie). Remedios was the proud grandmother of Alexia, Pamela , Luke, Kaila, and Mikaela Ilagan, who brought her endless joy. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and she created countless cherished memories that will live on in their hearts.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at The Villa Assisted Living for their exceptional care and compassion during Remedios’s final years.
Remedios G. Ilagan will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a beacon of love, kindness, and compassion. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate to know her.
