Robbie Lee Williams went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 15, 2017. She was born in Columbus, TX on August 22, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Fred Hemphill and Leonard Connor and the last of 5 children. Robbie was a graduate of Jack Yates Senior High School in Houston, TX and attended Texas Southern University.
She met and fell in love with husband Norman Williams, moved to Monaville, TX and created a home and horse ranch where they raised 4 beautiful children. She was an active church member her entire life with service at St. Jude's United Methodist Church and the Storehouse ministry, The Church Without Walls. Robbie was also an active member of the Teamsters Organization. Most importantly, she was a loving and devoted mother.
Robbie is survived by her four children: Darryl, Dana, Sonya and Mia Williams; three grandchildren, Larry Williams, Taylor Thorpe and Brittany Joseph; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
