Rosario Chapa Perry

Rosario Chapa Perry went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2014 after losing her battle with Leukemia. Rose was the first of nine children born to Arturo and Amada Chapa on December 10, 1941 in Orange Grove, Texas. She leaves her loving husband, John, of Katy, Texas; sisters Mary and Sylvia and Brothers Pat, John, Leonard and David all of Pasadena, Texas. She also leaves behind four step-children, John and Daniel Perry of Sugar Land, Texas, James Perry of Boardman, Ohio and Juliana P. Riley of Katy, Texas. Nine step-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren along with many other loving family members and friends. Her brothers, Del and Arturo, along with her parents, preceded her in death. Rose worked as a fragrance specialist at Macy’s in the Sugar Land Mall. She loved decorating and gardening and had a special touch for making living plants flourish. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 1, 2014 the Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, Texas. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
