Rose Ann Callegari

Rose Ann Callegari, 73, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, following a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. She was born December 30, 1942, in Cottonport, LA, but lived most of her life in the Houston/Katy area.

Rose Ann lived a full, blessed life and was deeply loved by her family and friends. Fondly remembered for her warm and caring ways along with her wit and laughter, Rose Ann will best be remembered for her devotion to her faith, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edison J. Moreau and Thelma Ducote Moreau.

She is survived by her devoted, loving husband of 53 years, Don Callegari; her two sons, Captain Brent Callegari and wife, Nancy of Boerne, TX; and Scott Callegari and wife, Jocelyn of Cypress, TX; sister, Pat Prevot and husband, Roger of Baton Rouge, LA; and brother, E. J. Moreau, Jr. of Cottonport, LA; and her beloved grandchildren, Kyle Callegari, Kurt Callegari, Stephen Callegari, and Jude Callegari; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, 1530 Norwalk Drive, Katy, TX on January 5, 2017. Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:30. Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon. Burial will be at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX.
