May 24, 1973 – April 25, 2025
Shana Beth Robisch, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Fulshear, Texas, on April 25, 2025, at the age of 51.
Born on May 24, 1973, in Bay City, Texas, Shana spent her early years moving across Texas and Virginia with her family, laying the foundation for her lifelong love of travel and adventure. That spirit of adventure continued throughout her life, especially after she met the love of her life, Brett Robisch, at Oklahoma State University. The two fell quickly in love and were married in Destin, Florida, in 1997. Together, they built a beautiful life full of adventure and family, raising four incredible children: Savannah, Brendan, Bryce, and Jacob.
Shana’s life was defined by movement, growth, and connections. With Brett’s professional opportunities, their family lived in Oklahoma, South Dakota, Colorado, Japan, France, Austria, Germany, Australia, Oman, and eventually settled in Katy, Texas. In every place she lived, Shana made lasting friendships and fully embraced local cultures. She had a way of making every place feel like home — not just for her family, but for everyone she met.
A gifted and intuitive chef, Shana had a knack for turning whatever she had on hand into something delicious. She also dedicated time to her community, working in education in various capacities. She served as Volunteer Coordinator at TAISM in Oman and most recently worked in the PE Department and as a crossing guard at Campbell Elementary school in Fulshear. She cherished the opportunity to bring joy and energy into children’s lives each day.
Shana’s love extended beyond people—she was also an animal lover, often surrounded by a lively “zoo” of pets over the years. Her two beloved labs, Mocha and Dakota, were her constant companions.
Nothing brought Shana more pride and joy than her role as a wife and mother. She was Brett’s faithful partner and her children’s greatest cheerleader. Whether it was crafting Homecoming mums or wedding favors, hosting friends for BBQs, sending care packages across the country, sitting on the sidelines for countless basketball and soccer games, or streaming Navy soccer matches to watch her son compete — Shana never missed a moment.
Shana is survived by her devoted husband, Brett Robisch; her daughter, Savannah Chandler, and her husband, Walker; her sons, Brendan, Bryce, and Jacob; her parents, Don and Laura Lehman; her sister, Shelby Lowell, and her husband, Steve; her brother, John Lehman, and his wife, Misti; her parents-in-law, Dave and Lou Robisch; her brothers- and sisters-in-law: Scott and Jill Robisch, and Stacey and Dave Willenborg; and her many beloved nieces and nephews: Clayton (Amber) Lowell, Adam Lowell, Emma Lowell, Audrey Lowell, Zoe Lehman, Macki Lehman, Patrick Willenborg, Matthew Willenborg, Owen Willenborg, Griffyn Robisch, and Sophie Robisch and two grand-nieces, Olivia and Caroline Lowell.
Shana will be remembered for her spunk, determination, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched across the world.
Shana loved the ocean and teaching her students fishing at her elementary school with support from Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens. In lieu of flowers we’d appreciate donations to Texas Parks and Wildlife to fund conservation education, artificial reef projects, and other inland and coastal wildlife and nature projects.
