It was with a heavy heart when I heard about Mr. Steve, I really enjoyed working with him, he will be missed.
 I will also miss talking to him about cars and racing.

We enjoyed attending the Renaissance Festival together.

Stephen loved getting dressed up and having a nice dinner. I just let him talk about car racing and that made him happy.

I am struggling coming to terms with losing of you, brother. 
With you being 12 years older, we didn’t always have too much in common, but from my very first recollection to my last there is nothing but the very fondest memories.
I loved your company and your dry humour. Spending time with you was easy and although you lived halfway around the world, I never felt you were too far away. 
It is the missed opportunities and the missed possibilities of time together that I am really struggling to come to terms with, but I am grateful to have had you in my life and the times together.
You will be forever in my heart.

I chased Steve’s red porsche around many Drivers Edge events for years.  We always sat together in class and shared many laughs. He will be missed.

Spent many of track days with Steve. We rode in my car with him one am at drivers edge. I instructed him and he got a big kick of how I motivated him. He reminded me every time I saw him and thanked me for helping him. He really was a good student and became a really good driver most importantly he was a fantastic person. We quickly became friend and would often talk between track weekends. We will miss his sense of humor and being a great guy.

Steve…you are so missed my friend, you are also in my thoughts at each track day, rest in peace!
I met Steve when he first started running HPDE and quickly became fast “paddock” friends, meeting up at he various local Texas tracks and enjoying the weekend chasing each other on track.

I first met Steve in the winter of 1978 when I was staying at the family home in Colerne just outside Bath. There had been a heavy snowfall so Steve and I walked to meet my girlfriend and his sister off the bus from work.
Steve said maybe we should have a chat about your intentions and I commented was this the big brother talk about you wrong my sister you will have me to deal with!? His reply was “god no, I’m a lover not a fighter…”
I reminded him of this frequently.
Mandy and I went up to stay with Steve at his flat in Berkshire and we went into London to see the Premier of Moonraker! Mandy and Steve fell asleep all through the film but I loved it!
Steve travelled the world but it didn’t matter, when you were in his company it was like he had never been away.
After Mandy passed away, and even after I remarried when he was in the UK he always came to stay and loved an evening in the local pubs with a curry at the end of the night.
His last visit 18 months ago we went to Trentham Gardens to watch the London Orchestra play Hans Zimmer’s famous blockbuster films anthems. We took some beers and a picnic, Julie and I never got a look in at the pork pies or scotch eggs! 
Rest in peace Steve, and as a fellow agnostic, if it does exist give Mandy a hug from me.
