Dear Joan & Steve's children,  I just heard about Flood's passing.  (That's what we called him at Drake). He will be remembered by me as one of the truly great guys. After Drake I went to work at FMC in Chicago & we had that in common again.

Glen and I were so sad to hear about Steves passing.  You both were so nice to us when we were neighbors in Spring way back when your kids were still so young. I know Glen visited with Steve and on occasion they'd  play golf together and he would always tell me when you both came by the dealership.  Please feel free to contact either of us if you ever need anything.  We have you and your family in our prayers and we pray that God will give you strength and peace to get through this. I knew Steve by his strong reputation in the industry, before I had the privelage to know him personally over the last 12 years. I'll miss his dry sense of humor, that would often catch me off guard. He was a man of conviction, and a loyal friend. I pray for your Peace of Mind, in adjusting to your loss.

Sorry to hear of Steve's passing and condolences to the family.  We grew up on Lovejoy in Waterloo and the Floods lived across the street from us.    I'll always remember his red hair and loud laugh.

Joan, Kate, & Alex:  Judy & I were both heartbroken to hear of Steve's passing last week.  We were so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him when he was in charge of our branch here in Charlotte, NC.  Steve was a man of great moral character and fairness to everyone, and we still miss his witty sense of humor.  He was a well-respected leader in our industry, and he will be sorely missed. I was very sad to hear about Steve's passing.  He was already with Link-Belt when I started there in 1979.  Steve was a great guy and we stayed connected through the industry all these years.  Will miss him a lot.

Steve and I would joke around sometimes when he would come out in to the shop around quitting time. when my son Mark passed away in 2006 Steve was their for me He understood and made me feel like family Steve I know in my heart you cared and you and Mark are in a better place It was a pleasure knowing and being around Steve I will never forget you My sincere condolences to the Flood family

Steve was a lot of different things to many people but for me he was not only my branch manager but a friend as well.  I am fortunate that I was able to work with him over the last four years and will miss him tremendously.  He taught me a lot about business and was always there when I needed advice.  Steve I hope you are in a batter place and thank you for everything you have done for me over the years.  You always made my wife and I feel like we were part of the family and you will not be forgotten.
