

Taylor was born September 27, 1998 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She spent her earlier years in Mandeville, Louisiana, and later moved to her final home of Katy, TX.
She graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2018.
Her achievements and interests included being a part of Special Olympics. She was a member of the Katy Wolf Pack team in softball, track and field, and basketball. In 2016, she was awarded the Female Athlete of the Year from Special Olympics Greater Houston Area.
Most people will remember Taylor for her infectious smile, assertiveness, and can-do attitude. She was always an inspiration to all who met her.
Taylor was preceded in death by her grandparents Doug and Jean Hodge of Portland, TX.
She is survived by her parents Steven and Cathy Hodge of Katy, TX, her siblings Ashley, Shelby, and Brayden Hodge of Katy, TX, and her grandparents Paul and Joyce Matula of Richmond, TX.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her team of doctors and nurses at Texas Children’s Cancer Center.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, June 6th, 2022 at Katy Funeral Home 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, TX 77494.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 at Second Baptist Church – West Campus 19449 Katy Freeway Katy, TX 77094.
Followed by a graveside service at Forest Park Southwest Cemetery 9040 FM 359 Richmond, TX 77406.
