

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Larry and Glenn Dixon.
Known as "Tommy" to his friends and family, he was loved and cherished for his sense of humor, love of music, and dedication to his family and work.
He was part owner in Fischer's Auto Parts in Bear Creek, owned Katy Hardware, and spent a decade as a beloved funeral director in Katy, Texas. Tommy was the most loving husband and father and was the center of his grandchildren's world. He will be greatly missed and always loved.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Dixon, daughter Melody Montez and husband Al, son Jared Dixon and wife Meredith, his grandchildren Ian Montez, Robben Montez, Jackson Dixon, Madelyn Dixon, Callie Snider and husband Michael and their children Evan and Emma, Caroline Proctor and husband Nick, his siblings John Dixon and wife Nelda, Kathy Black and husband Fred, sister-in-law Deven Dixon, brothers- and sisters-in-law, Terry Flenniken and Roxana Lavin, Carole Flenniken and Bob Petersen, Linda and Dave Thompson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation, service, and reception to follow will be Monday, June 15, 2026, Memorial Service to be held at Katy Funeral Home 23350 Kingsland Blvd. Katy, TX 77494.
Visitation hours are from 1-2pm
Service at 2pm
Reception from 3-5pm
