Thomas (Tom) William Heathcote 81, of Katy, passed away on December 16, 2013. He was a longtime resident of Houston and Katy. Tom was born on January 21, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Carl and Dorothy Heathcote. He retired from Automatic Power Inc. after 33 years of service.
His is preceded in death by his parents, several family members and his wife of 46 years Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Heathcote. He is survived by his sons Michael Heathcote and wife Juana Maria, Mark Heathcote and wife Kim, his daughter Michele McLendon and husband Kenny, grandchildren Michael Heathcote, Jr., Lauren Heathcote, Cameron Heathcote, and Kaitlyn McLendon, great grandchildren James and Jackson Heathcote. Funeral services were held Thursday December 19, 2013. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, American Cancer Society or any Charity.
