

Victor grew up in Bontoc, Mt. Province, Philippines. He completed his education at Mt. Province Comprehensive High School, graduating in 1982. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in management, at the University of Trinity of Asia in Quezon City, Philippines. As a child, his first pet was a dog named Skipper.
In his professional life, Victor worked as a Manager of a Security Agency in the Philippines and later as a Food Caterer at MD Anderson in the USA, where he was recognized for 20 years of dedicated service.
Victor married Zenaida Loman-Lacaben in Bontoc, Philippines, in 1996. He was a devoted husband and father, who found joy in baseball, cooking, gardening, and playing the lottery. Victor was known for being a socialite, attending parties whenever possible, and cooking delicious Pinikpikan. He cherished watching the Astros games and Manny Pacquiao, socializing with friends and relatives, and caring for his son and grandson. He was celebrated as a great father, a great lover, and an awesome friend and batchmate, with a remarkable sense of humor.
Victor is preceded in death by his father, Daniel Lacaben. He is survived by his mother, Helen Macli-ing Lacaben; his sisters, Lillian Grace Lacaben, Irene Mary Lacaben, Anne Grail Lacaben Afidchao, and Regina Cristina Lacaben Bautista; his wife, Zenaida Sepulchre Loman-Lacaben; his daughters, Queenie Chaste Loman-Lacaben, Xena Beth Loman-Lacaben, and Necita Danielle Loman-Lacaben; his grandson, Alezavier Daniel Lacaben Lara; and his son, Victor Yannis Loman-Lacaben.
At Victor's request, it is asked that you wear formal (or semi formal) blue or yellow attire to both the visitation and funeral service.
