Devoted Husband, Proud Texan, Engineer, Grandad Extraordinaire
William Martin Pryor Jr., of Temple, Texas, left behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering generosity, and boundless love for his family. A sixth-generation Texan, he was fiercely proud of his roots—something that shaped his life and the way he gave to others with pride, patience, and purpose.
Born and raised in Temple, William graduated from Temple High School and went on to attend Temple College. He pursued a career as a Control Systems Engineer, contributing to the design and construction of historic offshore platforms. His leadership, technical skill, and mentorship left a lasting mark on many in his field.
In 2001, he married the love of his life, Natalie. Together, they built a life full of adventure, laughter, and deep connection. William had a passion for history and a love for the outdoors. Whether hiking, camping, traveling, or working with leather, knives, or firearms, he found joy in hands-on craftsmanship and exploration.
Above all else, William treasured being a grandad. His grandchildren brought him endless joy, and he never missed an opportunity to share stories, teach a skill, or simply enjoy their company. He was the heart of his family, a source of strength and warmth.
A proud member of The Sons of the Republic of Texas, William held deep respect for his heritage. You could always count on him to bring fun and a spirit of adventure to any gathering.
