Wynona Lee Myrick

Nona was born on January 4 1934, to Anabel and Floyd Shepherd of Colorado City Texas.

She attended Baylor University and during that time was introduced to her future husband Lonnie E Myrick Jr. They were married August 16 1953. They had 5 children over the next few years…. Keith Edward Myrick, Floyd Alan Myrick, Kimberly Myrick Farrell, George Wynn Myrick and Walter Craig Myrick. In the later years they were blessed with 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Nona and Lonnie had a great life. Raised their kids while enjoying lots of friends, family and outdoor living. After their kids were mostly grown their adventures really kicked in.

Nona and Lonnie lived in Saudi Arabia from 1983-1988. During that time she traveled the world. From the great wall of China to the savannas of Africa to the Alps of Switzerland (and almost everywhere in between). And the shopping!….. (leave it at that)

She was a child of God and there is no doubt that she is looking down on us right now from Heaven with all her heavenly rewards (mixed with a bunch of shiny baubles) proudly displayed.
