Born on February 22, 1944, in Barataria, Trinidad and Tobago, she was the first daughter of the late Maude Pacifique and the late Lennox Spencer.
She is survived by sisters, Jackie Stewart, Carol Achong and Beverley Spencer; brother, Danny Mosca; nephew/son, Shane Spencer; daughter, Sharon Miller; granddaughter, Ashely Miller; along with many sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Michael, Ronald, Tony and Lennox Spencer; and Aunt Amelia Ayoung.
Throughout her life, Zoolie always put family first. With her vibrant spirit that could not be tamed, she lived her life as she pleased enjoying every moment along the way. She loved listening to Steel Pan, playing Mas and J’Ouvert with her family. The festival of Carnival was one of her favorite times of the year.
Amongst doing what she enjoyed most, Zoolie remained an empowered woman with an effervescent personality. She was a bold force that could not be reckoned with but yet the most calming and nurturing soul.
Our beloved Zoolie was an amazing daughter, mother to many, a devoted wife, a loving sister, a precious aunt and an exceptional friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends but her impact in our lives will live on forever in our hearts.
