I knew Connie (as Debra was called) back in the late seventies, a formative and interesting time. I remember her as a woman of boundless enthusiasm and heart, with a contagious exuberance that made even the most ordinary experience seem extraordinary. She was unforgettable and it’s difficult to imagine that light dimmed.
Rest in peace, Connie. Deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I was lucky as a young man to work alongside and even be a roommate for a short while. Debra was a wonderful, generous, and super energetic friend. Always good and kind to me from the start I felt like she was my sister. Some of my favorite memories are from that time. We just reconnected before this last fight with cancer and I really believed she would beat it again. I am so sorry for this loss and will remember the music and fun times forever.

Dear Sheila, Paul, Mitch & Aneisa. So very sorry to hear of Debbie’s passing. I was very saddened to hear this news. My very deepest condolences. She was a special woman. I am sorry I was not aware of any illness. I will always remember “Connie’s” singing and guitar playing. She loved that gold top Gibson guitar. Her Elvis impersonations will always be memorable. Lots of love and please take care.

We were friends at Sacred Heart.
I was blessed to have been able to reconnect catch up with her in the last year through fb and talk on the phone several times. It was as if the years between did not exist. ... She will be missed.
