She was born, November 7, 1922, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Angelo and Vita (Mannino) Cucuzzo. On February 24, 1946, she married the love of her life, Joseph Puleo, Sr. For many years, Anne worked as a dress maker in New York.
Reaching out to the poor and those in need and working to make the lives of those who were less fortunate, is something that brought Anne great joy. She loved spending time with her family. Her talents in the kitchen are something that she has proudly passed down through the generations. She worked for many years with St. Vincent DePaul, and also with the Regency Park Civic Association. The blankets that she made for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren did more than warm their hands, they warmed their hearts.
She is survived by her son: Joseph Puleo, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Marlborough, NH., three grandchildren: Joseph D. Puleo and his wife Kristen of Amesbury, MA., Heather Delworth and her husband David of Peterborough, NH., and Amy Sison and her husband Peter of Newbury, MA., three great-grandchildren: Avery & Addison Delworth of Peterborough, NH., and Joseph L. Puleo of Amesbury, MA., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband and her infant son: Stephen Puleo.
