Alexander Alex Barry Miller

He was born in Keene on March 25, 1969 to Gierald "Skip" and Patricia (McGrath) Miller. He attended Chesterfield and Keene schools, graduating from Keene High School with the class of 1987. He also attended Plymouth State College. He was a respected and popular student with a genuine and thoughtful concern for his friends and fellow students.

He was a competitive and natural athlete while growing up, playing soccer, golf, baseball, softball, youth hockey and waterskiing. He enjoyed outdoor wildlife, hunting, fishing and hiking. Although anyone will remember him rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, he also enjoyed watching the New England Patriots as well as the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.

Alex served on the Keene High School Varsity Wrestling Team for four years and was a two time State Champion.

He worked in car sales and finance in NH, VT and MA after leaving college. Most recently he was the Finance Manager for Country Hyundai of Northampton, MA.

He was married in a small ceremony at the Fitzwilliam Town Hall on July 6, 2006 to Teresita "Tess" Lioagan.

He is survived by his wife of 8 years: Tess Miller of Fitzwilliam; his mother Patricia Grace of Spofford, NH; his father Gierald "Skip" Miller and his wife Patricia of Littleton, CO; his step sisters Charmagne Yokoyama and her husband Mark of Kailua, HI and Nichole Knapp and her husband Sascha of Littleton, CO; his uncles Steve McGrath and his wife Cindy of Keene, NH and Mike McGrath and his wife Carol of Swanzey, NH; his aunts Donna Drouin and her husband Leo of Walpole, NH, Gloria Keefe and her husband Don of North Port, FL and Peggy Shanahan and her husband Daniel of Sarasota, FL; his grandfather: Ray McGrath of Keene, NH as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fletcher Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at a later date.
